18 September 2022 - Glen Austin Pan
It had been some time since I last visited the pan, so I had a quick visit today to see if there was any change in diversity and the water levels. Water levels are still high and I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not as it minimises the exposed edges for waders?
No new species were seen, but I did have Cattle Egret

and a fair share of waterfowl; Southern Pochard

| Male Southern Pochard (Netta erythrophthalma) |
White-backed Duck with young

small numbers of Cape Shoveler

| Male Cape Shoveler (Spatula smithii) |
 |
| Female Cape Shoveler (Spatula smithii) |
and a good concentration of White-faced Ducks
 |
| White-faced Whistling Duck (Dendrocygna viduata) |
Will visit again sometime in October...
